Payward is hiring an AI Agent Systems Engineer to build and ship AI-powered agent systems that automate internal workflows and decision paths. The role involves designing inference pipelines, prototyping agent behaviors, architecting backend services that integrate with internal APIs and data sources, and establishing safe, observable, and controllable execution patterns. The engineer will collaborate with product, infrastructure, and internal operations teams to improve system speed, reliability, and signal quality while contributing to the foundational design of a 0→1 agent platform.
