ServiceNow is hiring a distributed systems engineer to build and own the runtime infrastructure for Moveworks’ AI agents. The role focuses on agent orchestration, distributed session management, event-driven message pipelines, structured concurrency, observability, caching, and state layers. Candidates need at least five years of production backend or infrastructure systems experience, strong Python or Go skills, experience operating systems handling real traffic at scale, and deep familiarity with several of the listed distributed systems, concurrency, messaging, database, observability, and gRPC technologies.
