Fieldguide is hiring a Senior Software Engineer, Agents to own the measurement and improvement of agent quality for its long-horizon AI agents. The role focuses on evaluation strategy and error analysis, building agent knowledge and evaluation infrastructure, improving agent reliability, developing backend systems for agent execution and monitoring, and mentoring engineers. Candidates should have at least one year of agent experience, strong AI-platform and backend engineering experience, and demonstrated eval and error-analysis work; platform, frontend, and distributed systems experience are preferred.
