Description

FloQast is hiring a Senior AI Engineer for its Core AI team to architect, build, and scale production AI products for its accounting automation platform. The role focuses on intelligent chatbots, document processing, agentic workflows, centralized AI platforms, model routing, vector search, MCP integrations, context engineering, and scalable system design. The engineer will also collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Security teams and provide technical leadership and mentorship to the growing AI team.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
4+ years focused on building backend for production applications
Preferred Qualifications: AWS experience
Experience building production chatbots or conversational AI products
Background in system integration, API design, or enterprise software platforms
Familiarity with accounting workflows and financial data processing
Experience with AI observability, debugging tools, and production AI monitoring
Experience with advanced RAG architectures, reranking systems, and retrieval optimization
Knowledge of RLHF or other reinforcement learning techniques
Experience building AI platform components such as embedding pipelines, semantic search systems, or multi-modal processing frameworks
