NOV is hiring a Senior Software Engineer specialized in Agentic AI to join its Global Engineering Disciplines team. The role focuses on designing autonomous AI agents, building scalable AI services and RAG pipelines, integrating agents with enterprise systems, and developing production-grade software using Python, TypeScript/JavaScript, FastAPI, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-native architectures. The engineer will also establish AI governance, test and monitor AI workloads, prototype emerging technologies, and collaborate with engineering and business stakeholders. The position is based flexibly near the Fornebu offices and requires a relevant bachelor's or master's degree, at least five years of professional software engineering experience, and two or more years developing AI/ML applications in production.
