Aura is hiring a Senior Software Engineer (PE) to own complex, large-scale platform initiatives from architecture through production. The role focuses on building secure and private infrastructure for AI agents and intelligence systems, using Python and TypeScript on AWS. Responsibilities include designing scalable and reliable systems, handling sensitive data, making technology choices, establishing security and privacy practices, and mentoring engineers. Candidates need 5–8+ years of software engineering experience, a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field or equivalent experience, and strong distributed-systems, cloud, and security knowledge; AI/LLM, data-platform, AWS, and infrastructure-as-code experience are preferred. The position is remote.
