Description
Google is hiring a Software Engineer for its Android Bluetooth team to lead the development of connectivity features and the Android Connectivity stack for XR platforms. The role involves designing and implementing APIs, integrating Bluetooth technologies, testing and debugging software, reviewing code, participating in design reviews, and influencing platform design for internal and external partners. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience, at least five years of Java or C++ programming experience, three years of software product experience, one year of software design and architecture experience, and three years of Android platform, AOSP, or application development experience. Preferred qualifications include advanced degrees, data structures and algorithms experience, performance and large-scale systems experience, technical leadership experience, and connectivity stack architecture experience. The position offers a US salary of $174,000–$252,000 plus a 15% bonus target, equity, and benefits.
