Description
The Distributed Systems Engineer will design, develop, deploy, and operate fault-tolerant distributed applications and services for Apple's CloudKit and iCloud observability infrastructure. The role involves processing large volumes of operational data, integrating with Spark, Trino, and Flink, collaborating with infrastructure and platform teams, driving end-to-end project execution, and triaging production issues. Candidates need at least five years of software development experience in Java or a similar language, strong distributed-systems and backend-service experience, concurrent-programming experience, Kubernetes deployment experience, and an engineering-related bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
