Description
Discord is hiring a Senior Software Engineer for its Application Security team to design and operate full-stack authentication and session-security solutions protecting user accounts. The role leads security-critical services, partners with Product teams, identifies emerging account-security threats, and builds automated, self-service controls. Candidates need at least five years of production application security experience, three years of general-purpose programming experience, and hands-on experience with authentication, account security, cloud environments, and cross-functional security projects. The position is West Coast U.S.-based and can be remote, with Bay Area employees welcome to work from the SF office; the base salary is $196,000 to $245,000 plus equity and benefits.
