Amazon is hiring a Senior Software Engineer for its AWS Compliance & Security Assurance Engineering team. The role focuses on building and owning internal services that identify and monitor security and compliance attributes of infrastructure, scale security audit and examination execution, continuously monitor security functions, and support highly available, secure distributed microservices. Responsibilities include writing tested code, leading technical strategy and advisory, mentoring software engineers, and improving agile processes. The position requires at least five years of professional software development experience, programming experience, design or architecture leadership, and mentorship or engineering-team leadership experience; a computer science degree and Generative AI systems experience are preferred.
