Description
The role leads the design, delivery, and implementation of complex, large-scale systems and features while providing technical guidance and advocating for Amazon's engineering standards. Responsibilities include cross-functional collaboration, end-to-end service architecture, modern software engineering practices, performance and reliability optimization, technical strategy, leadership communication, hiring and mentoring, and AWS certification. The position requires at least three years of professional software development experience, two years of design or architecture experience, and experience with at least one programming language; full software development life-cycle experience and a bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent are preferred.
