AECOM is hiring a full-time, on-site Senior Software Engineer in Zug, Switzerland for its AI Engineering team. The role builds production backend services, APIs, data flows, and machine-learning systems that power AI-driven infrastructure and building-design products. Responsibilities include system architecture, database and schema design, scalability and performance trade-offs, deployment, monitoring, and production support. The position requires a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience, strong Python skills, production-system ownership, and sound software development practices; AI/ML production experience and cloud or platform engineering experience are preferred.
