Description
The Senior Software Engineer supports custom software solutions for large-scale automated aerospace assembly systems, covering the full project lifecycle from design and programming through integration, commissioning, and production support. The role focuses on control-system configuration and development, including servo motion control, sensors, network communication, and graphical user interfaces, with programming in Siemens and Allen-Bradley automation environments, C/C++, and C#. The engineer collaborates with customers, mechanical and electrical design teams, project management, and manufacturing, troubleshoots critical automation issues, documents solutions, and may lead development tasks. The position requires a relevant bachelor's degree and five years of experience, or a master's degree and three years of experience, along with extensive automation, programming, networking, and electrical troubleshooting experience.
