Description
Appian is hiring a Senior Software Engineer for its Performance Engineering team to build custom performance tooling, automate performance and load testing, drive observability, debug production issues, and optimize JVM, Linux, and database performance. The role requires a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, at least four years of professional software experience, and programming experience in Java, Python, or another interpreted or compiled language, along with Linux fundamentals. Preferred qualifications include JVM tuning, cloud-native monitoring and tracing, CI/CD, containerization, and Kubernetes. The base salary range is $125,000 to $250,000 USD, with medical, dental, and vision plans among the benefits.
