Applied Materials is hiring a Senior Software Engineer for its PrimeVision product in Rehovot, Israel. The role focuses on designing, developing, testing, and debugging complex software solutions for semiconductor equipment, with a strong emphasis on Java and Python, distributed systems architecture, Linux, clean code, and AI-based metrology and inspection products. The engineer will collaborate with algorithm, image processing, QA, automation, and other R&D teams, provide technical guidance and mentorship, and contribute to production-ready software.
