Description

Axon is hiring a Senior Software Engineer for its Enterprise New Markets team to lead the design and delivery of complex healthcare enterprise systems, including EHR integrations, devices, and AI-powered clinical and operational capabilities. The role combines technical leadership, product discovery, architecture, AI-assisted development, cross-team coordination, and mentorship. It is based in the Scottsdale, Arizona office on a hybrid schedule with onsite work Tuesday through Friday and remote work on Mondays.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
Required Previous Experiences: 6+ years of professional software engineering experience
Experience designing and delivering complex, cloud-based systems with high availability and performance requirements
Experience creating and evolving APIs, services, or components used by other engineers or systems
Direct experience working with electronic health records (EHRs)
Preferred Qualifications: Deep experience with a major EHR platform
Experience shipping products that sit on top of EHR data or workflows
Experience building or scaling enterprise products in regulated or privacy-sensitive environments
Experience with speech-to-text, AI transcription, LLM-powered features, or ML-adjacent application development
Experience integrating with hardware devices or device-backed workflows
Experience iterating directly with customers or stakeholders based on feedback
Experience working across the fullstack and using multiple technologies
