Description
Bitdefender is hiring a Senior Software Engineer for its APAC engineering team to design and deliver complex cybersecurity product features and services. The role owns features from discovery through deployment and monitoring, maintains and scales applications, troubleshoots production issues, participates in incident response, and collaborates with engineering, product, QA, and security stakeholders. The engineer will also review code, mentor others, and use automation and AI-assisted tools to improve engineering quality and efficiency. The position requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience, at least five years of software engineering experience, and proficiency with technologies such as Python, PHP, TypeScript/JavaScript, React, GraphQL, and PostgreSQL, along with experience building cloud-based applications and distributed services.
