Description
Braven is hiring a Senior Software Engineer for its Systems team to lead full-stack design and delivery of platform, data, and automation initiatives. The role owns complex initiatives in Python and/or Ruby on Rails, makes architecture and technical design decisions, reviews code and architecture, mentors engineers, and promotes testing, observability, and engineering best practices. It requires a technical degree or equivalent practical experience and at least five years of software engineering experience, with hybrid work in Chicago or Newark three days per week. The position offers a base salary of $111,300–$139,000 in Chicago or $122,500–$153,100 in Newark, plus benefits including health insurance coverage, retirement matching, paid leave, and a sabbatical.
