Description
Discord is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to own complex safety infrastructure projects end-to-end, including design, production systems, on-call operations, security and scalability considerations, and post-launch iteration. The role requires 5+ years of backend or infrastructure experience, strong Python skills, distributed-systems expertise, and collaboration with Trust & Safety, machine learning, policy, and product teams. The position is US-based, with remote work available for candidates in the Los Angeles area and office work required two days per week for candidates in the San Francisco Bay Area.
