Description

DomainTools is hiring a Senior Software Engineer for its Engineering Team to design and maintain web-scale data systems, improve engineering productivity, and provide technical leadership and mentoring. The role emphasizes strong experience in Python, Rust, Go, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, Linux/Unix, and large-scale data engineering, with additional value placed on CI/CD, microservices, data pipelines, and security-domain interest. Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
Required Previous Experiences: 5+ years of professional development experience with Python, Go, Rust, or equivalent languages
3+ years of experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Docker, Kubernetes)
3+ years of experience with web-scale data engineering
3+ years of professional experience with Kafka
5+ years of experience with Linux/Unix environments
Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or related field
Experience with CI/CD and microservices
Experience with data pipelines such as Elasticsearch, NATS, or Apache Airflow
Experience with data mining or machine learning techniques
Experience with text codecs, encoding, and web protocols
Experience with Bash, Scala, C, or Hive development
Full-stack development experience
