The role involves creating scalable, reliable, and intelligent telephony solutions to enhance customer experiences. This includes designing high-performance call routing algorithms, architecting fault-tolerant systems, collaborating with product management, developing integrations, implementing automated testing, monitoring call quality, conducting performance benchmarking, mentoring junior engineers, working with DevOps and QA teams, and participating in on-call rotations.
