Description
The Senior Software Engineer will scope, design, document, develop, integrate, and test software for a large web-based application. Responsibilities include Java software development, data storage and model design with technologies such as Postgres and Elastic, AI-enabled feature development, coaching junior developers, cloud application deployment and management on AWS, and work with web front-end and software frameworks including HTML, CSS, React, Angular, and Spring. The role requires Australian citizenship for NV1 defence clearance eligibility, a bachelor’s degree in systems or software engineering, computer science, or a related field, at least five years of relevant software engineering or technology development experience, and experience with AI technologies, data storage, and web technologies.
