Google is hiring a Senior Software Engineer for its Consumer Payments Growth engineering team in Singapore. The role leads architectural design and end-to-end engineering of scalable back-end services, APIs, real-time event-streaming pipelines, financial settlement workflows, feature stores, telemetry systems, quest engines, and low-latency signal aggregation. The engineer will partner with cross-functional teams, drive complex multi-quarter projects, conduct design reviews, mentor engineers, and advocate AI-assisted development. The position requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience, five years of software programming experience, and experience with distributed systems, microservices, APIs, and multi-quarter project delivery.
