Wizards of the Coast is hiring a Senior Software Engineer for its Business Systems Engineering organization to design and develop AWS-based services and applications supporting Magic: The Gathering, Dungeons & Dragons, and Duel Masters. The role combines hands-on engineering with technical leadership, including setting engineering standards, leading AI-assisted development practices, making end-to-end technical decisions, and mentoring teammates. Candidates need at least 8 years of software engineering experience, including 2+ years in a lead, staff, or senior+ capacity, along with enterprise software, distributed systems, C#/.NET or Java or Go, AWS, CI/CD, APIs, and database experience. The listed pay range is $144,100–$216,100 USD, with medical, dental, vision, retirement, leave, and other benefits.
