Description
HSBC is hiring a Senior Software Engineer for its AI Management & Strategy business in Guangzhou. The role owns AI-enabled application features from prototype through production, develops Python and JavaScript/TypeScript components, integrates LLM, RAG, embeddings, model APIs, prompt workflows, and automation, and collaborates with business users and technical stakeholders. Responsibilities include proof of concepts, testing, debugging, monitoring, deployment preparation, issue investigation, documentation, and application of security, data privacy, access control, responsible AI, and production-readiness standards. The position requires a bachelor’s degree or above in a relevant technical discipline and approximately three years of hands-on experience in AI engineering, LLM application development, machine learning engineering, data engineering, backend development, or full-stack development.
