Illumio is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to architect and build high-scale distributed systems for its Agentic AI ecosystem. The role focuses on asynchronous event-driven systems with Apache Kafka, large-scale data processing with Apache Spark or Flink, autonomous AI agents, and containerized services on Kubernetes across AWS, Azure, or GCP. Candidates should have 5–8 years of backend engineering experience and expertise in distributed systems, agentic frameworks, RAG, model fine-tuning, and observability.
