Kavak is hiring two Senior Software Engineers for its Cuenca fintech vertical in Mexico. The role focuses on maintaining and evolving SPEI infrastructure connected to Banco de México, developing Kavak credit card features, building payment and card APIs in Python and TypeScript, designing scalable financial infrastructure, troubleshooting production incidents, and operating AWS infrastructure, observability, and deployment pipelines. Candidates need at least six years of backend software engineering experience, production availability experience, Python proficiency, payment or financial API experience, and continuous-delivery experience; fintech, payment-systems, and small-team ownership experience are preferred.
