Description
Kong is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to build, operate, and lead the delivery of critical components for its Managed Gateways platform, including Dedicated Cloud Gateways and Serverless Gateways. The role focuses on distributed systems, microservices, control-plane components, API infrastructure, reliability, observability, and production on-call ownership, while also mentoring engineers and contributing to the technical roadmap. Candidates need a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a related field, at least five years of high-performance software experience, strong Golang and distributed-systems expertise, cloud and Kubernetes experience, and experience delivering systems with 99.99%+ uptime.
