Description
Latitude is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to design and build scalable backend services and distributed systems for global payments infrastructure. The role involves developing payment orchestration, ledgering, workflow engines, partner integrations, and public APIs; influencing architecture and engineering standards; owning projects end to end; collaborating with engineering and product; and mentoring teammates. The position requires at least five years of professional software engineering experience, strong backend and distributed-systems fundamentals, and experience in one or more of infrastructure/DevOps, payments or financial systems, or blockchain or crypto infrastructure. The role offers a base salary of $230,000–$250,000 plus equity, medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, a 401(k), unlimited PTO, and flexible remote work within the United States.
