Leidos is hiring a Senior Software Engineer for its Huntsville office to develop, field, support, and maintain software for tactical strike guided munition programs. The role leads software development teams, defines full-stack architecture for missile-system applications, conducts technical and code reviews, mentors engineers, interfaces with government customers, and supports flight testing and post-test analysis. Candidates need a relevant bachelor’s degree, 12+ years of relevant technical experience or 10+ years with a master’s degree, U.S. citizenship, DoD security clearance eligibility, and expert C/C++ experience; Python or Java, embedded systems, real-time operating systems, configuration management, and software quality engineering experience are also required. The pay range is $131,300 to $237,350.
