Description
Mastercard is hiring a full-time Senior Software Engineer for its Blockchain Team in Lisbon, Portugal. The role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining secure, scalable distributed systems and blockchain-based products, including backend services, APIs, microservices, cloud-native applications, integrations, and production reliability. The engineer will participate in architecture decisions, troubleshoot complex issues, drive automation and testing, and mentor junior and mid-level developers. The position requires a bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field, at least five years of professional software engineering experience, strong Java and Spring proficiency, Angular and full-stack development experience, and familiarity with cloud, containerization, CI/CD, and distributed systems. Blockchain, cryptography, Web3, and secure authentication experience are preferred.
