Description
The Senior Software Engineer will design, develop, test, and operate highly available distributed services for Mastercard’s authentication decisioning platform. The role owns features from technical design through production rollout, develops APIs and real-time transaction-processing components, contributes to cloud and observability modernization, troubleshoots production issues, partners with SRE, Data Science, and Product teams, and mentors junior engineers. The position requires production-grade Java, distributed systems, microservices, Spring Boot, REST and event-driven architectures, CI/CD, testing, observability, secure coding, and cloud-native technologies.
