Description
Microsoft is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to design, implement, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software components and services for Microsoft Dataverse and related microservices. The role leads complex feature initiatives, improves product quality, conducts code reviews, collaborates with product, architecture, and UX teams, and develops software that helps customers optimize business processes. Required qualifications include a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical field and at least four years of technical engineering experience with coding in languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python, or equivalent experience. Preferred qualifications include a master's degree, additional years of experience, and experience with agentic systems, LLMs, agents, MCP, RAG, and modern AI frameworks. The role requires Microsoft Cloud background screening and offers a base pay range of USD 119,800 to USD 234,700 per year across the United States, with higher ranges for the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area.
