Microsoft’s Azure Core New Tech team is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to build and improve software that validates hardware acceptance in factories and datacenters. The role owns features from requirements and architecture through implementation, testing, rollout, production monitoring, and refinement; improves concurrency, reliability, observability, and performance of long-running workflows; and partners with software, hardware, networking, firmware, driver, manufacturing, and datacenter teams. The position uses managed C# and may involve hardware validation, provisioning workflows, networking concepts, and production issue diagnosis. It offers flexible working with remote hardware access when needed and pays USD 119,800–234,700 annually in the United States, with a higher range for the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area.
