Description
Microsoft is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to design, implement, and maintain core Windows debugging technologies, including WinDbg and DbgEng, kernel-mode debugging transports such as KDNET, and Time Travel Debugging. The role owns major components end to end, brings up debugging across Windows and Linux and x64 and ARM64 architectures, diagnoses deep systems-level defects, improves reliability, performance, and security, advances AI-assisted debugging, and mentors engineers. The position requires a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical field plus at least four years of technical engineering experience, or equivalent experience, and offers a U.S. base pay range of USD 119,800 to USD 234,700 per year.
