Microsoft is hiring a Software Engineer for its Artificial Intelligence Frameworks team to develop system software, developer tools, and software stacks for large-scale model training and inference on novel AI hardware. The role requires hands-on software design and development, architectural work, cross-disciplinary collaboration, and experience with C/C++, Python, CUDA, ROCm, and multicore systems. Candidates need a B.S. or advanced degree in computer engineering, computer science, or a related field, at least 8 years of software development experience, and experience leading at least two commercialized features from requirement to deployment.
