Description
Microsoft is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to set technical direction for the Microsoft Advertising Mediation Service, a real-time OpenRTB auction and mediation platform. The role owns architecture and highly scalable Go services across the request hot path, auction engines, bidder adapters, experimentation frameworks, observability, and Azure-native infrastructure. Responsibilities include improving latency, availability, reliability, cost, and cross-region failover while mentoring engineers and contributing to SDLC delivery. The role requires a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field and at least four years of technical engineering experience; preferred qualifications include a master's degree, six or more years of experience, Go production expertise, OpenRTB and auction systems experience, and Kubernetes and Azure experience. The typical U.S. base pay range is USD 119,800 to USD 234,700 per year, with higher ranges for the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area.
