Description
Microsoft is hiring a Senior Software Engineer for its Desktop Outlook team to design and develop Co-Pilot and artificial intelligence–driven productivity features. The role involves defining technical roadmaps, investigating technologies, creating development designs, implementing and validating features, monitoring telemetry, and helping diagnose service health and outages. Candidates need a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical field and at least four years of technical engineering experience with coding in languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python; equivalent experience is also accepted. Preferred qualifications include large-group delivery experience, end-to-end feature ownership, native C++ object-oriented development, post-mortem debugging, customer-focused product success, cross-discipline collaboration, and strong AI-stack learnability.
