Description
Microsoft is hiring a Senior Software Engineer for its Identity for Services (ID4S) team within Microsoft Entra. The role develops and maintains authentication and authorization components across platforms, including .NET, and supports high-scale services, APIs, telemetry, security, resilience, and operational excellence. The engineer will collaborate with product, service, and platform teams, participate in code reviews and design discussions, and apply AI-assisted development practices. Required qualifications include a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical field, technical engineering experience with programming, distributed-services experience, and understanding of OAuth, OpenID Connect, and SAML; .NET experience is also required. The role is open for at least five days with ongoing applications until filled, with a typical base pay range of €77,400 to €130,000 per year across Ireland.
