Microsoft is hiring an AI Accelerator Tools Development Engineer to build stress, validation, performance, and reliability tooling for MAIA AI accelerator platforms. The role develops scalable workload-generation frameworks, kernel and compiler integration tools, automated regression infrastructure, benchmarking methodologies, and dashboards across compute, memory, networking, storage, and large-scale AI systems. Candidates need a BS/MS in a relevant engineering or computer science field, at least 8 years of software development experience, and hands-on experience with Python, C/C++, PyTorch, Triton, distributed AI workloads, and accelerator workloads.
