Description
Microsoft is hiring a Senior Software Engineer for its Azure Artificial Intelligence/High Performance Computing team to build and operate high-throughput, low-latency data processing pipelines, observability, monitoring, analytics, and automation capabilities for cloud-scale supercomputing infrastructure. The role owns end-to-end delivery of critical services, leads incident response and reliability improvements, and influences architecture and roadmap decisions. Candidates need a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical field plus at least four years of technical engineering experience with coding in languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python; equivalent experience is accepted. Preferred qualifications include a master's degree, additional years of experience, and expertise in observability, AI/HPC systems, high-speed networks, HPC storage, or cloud infrastructure. The typical U.S. base pay range is USD 119,800–234,700 per year, with higher ranges for the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area.
