Microsoft is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to lead the design, implementation, validation, deployment, and ongoing operation of complex product capabilities for Windows Agents, Growth and Innovation. The role owns features from technical investigation through production, partners with engineering, product, design, privacy, security, and reliability teams, and contributes to architectural, security, reliability, performance, observability, and developer-productivity improvements. The engineer will also mentor other engineers and help make effective technical decisions. A bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical field and at least four years of technical engineering experience are required; equivalent experience is accepted, and a master's degree is preferred. The role requires Microsoft Cloud background screening and offers a typical U.S. base pay range of USD 119,800 to USD 234,700 per year, with higher ranges for the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area.
