Microsoft is hiring a full-time Senior Software Engineer for its OneNote Cloud Experiences team to build and scale AI-powered Copilot Notebook features across web and mobile platforms. The role involves defining user requirements, designing products, leading engineering work, mentoring others, supporting on-call operations, and leveraging modern AI and distributed systems. Required qualifications include a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical discipline and at least four years of technical engineering experience with coding in languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python; equivalent experience is also accepted. Preferred qualifications include a master's degree, additional years of experience, AI and cloud experience, and distributed-systems expertise. The typical U.S. base pay range is USD 119,800–234,700 per year, with higher ranges for the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area.
