Description
Microsoft is hiring a Senior Software Engineer for its Windows App and Windows 365 Cloud PC engineering team. The role designs and ships client features, builds AI-assisted computing experiences, leads architecture for secure distributed applications, drives reliability through telemetry and incident response, collaborates with Microsoft and partner teams, and mentors engineers. Required qualifications include a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical field and at least four years of technical engineering experience with C++ or C#; equivalent experience is accepted. Preferred qualifications include a master's degree, six or more years of experience, Windows platform expertise, identity and authentication knowledge, VDI experience, large-scale application leadership, AI-assisted development, and engineering mentorship. The typical U.S. base pay range is USD 119,800–234,700 per year, with higher ranges for the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area.
