Description
Microsoft is hiring a Senior Software Engineer for its Microsoft Advertising Billing Platform team to design, build, and evolve highly scalable, reliable, and secure distributed systems; lead technical architecture; drive end-to-end delivery of critical platform projects; and use telemetry and customer insights to improve product health and customer experience. The role requires a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical field and at least four years of technical engineering experience with coding in languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python, or equivalent experience. Preferred qualifications include advanced degrees, additional years of experience, large-scale cloud and distributed-systems expertise, and experience with online advertising, AI, or global-scale services. The typical U.S. base pay range is USD 119,800–234,700 per year, with higher ranges for the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area.
