Microsoft’s COSMIC Capacity team is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to build and scale Kubernetes-based services for capacity provisioning, quota management, service movement, and autoscaling. The role focuses on reliable, high-throughput, multi-tenant services and requires a bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related technical field plus at least four years of technical engineering experience, or equivalent experience. Preferred qualifications include a master’s degree and six or more years of experience, or a bachelor’s degree and eight or more years of experience. The typical U.S. base pay range is USD 119,800–234,700 per year, with higher ranges for the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area.
