Microsoft’s AI Infrastructure Networking & Systems Tools (NeST) organisation is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to design and build debugging and diagnostic capabilities for GPU and AI accelerator platforms. The role focuses on crash-dump collection and analysis, hardware debugging, cross-layer diagnostics, telemetry and logging, extensible APIs, failure triage, root-cause analysis, and automation of diagnostic workflows. The engineer will collaborate with hardware, firmware, driver, platform, and cloud infrastructure teams and apply AI-assisted engineering practices to improve reliability, serviceability, and engineering productivity.
