Description
Microsoft is hiring a Senior Software Engineer in Azure Arc within Azure Core to build and operate Kubernetes-based virtualization and hybrid-cloud management platforms. The role involves designing scalable platform capabilities, developing code, managing dependencies and design documents, breaking work into smaller items, and acting as a designated responsible individual for monitoring and restoring degraded systems. The engineer will work with Microsoft partner teams and open-source communities, using technologies such as Go, Python, Kubernetes, Linux, and virtualization technologies including KVM and QEMU. The position offers a typical U.S. base pay range of USD 119,800 to USD 234,700 per year, with higher ranges for the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area.
