Microsoft is hiring a Software Engineering IC4 for its Edge Engineering System team to build and operate AI-first engineering workflows, develop and test software, design scalable and secure solutions, automate production and deployment, and support live services. The role requires a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical field and at least four years of technical engineering experience with C, C++, Go, or Python, or equivalent experience; preferred qualifications include a master's degree, additional experience, and Chromium or Ninja-based build-system experience. The position offers a base pay range of USD 119,800 to USD 234,700 per year across the United States, with higher ranges for the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area.
