Description
Microsoft Digital is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to help define and build the next generation of agentic AI systems for company-wide developer productivity. The role covers the full lifecycle of agentic systems, including tool design, planning and execution, orchestration, evaluation, safety guardrails, observability, progressive delivery, reliability engineering, and customer-facing user experiences. The engineer will work across full-stack solutions, use modern AI-assisted development practices, own medium-to-large features end to end, and mentor peers. Required qualifications include a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical field plus 4+ years of technical engineering experience, production experience with LLM-powered agentic systems, and expertise in AI application development, agent SDKs, LLMs, prompt engineering, and AI orchestration.
